On Wednesday, Clayson Monyela, the head of public diplomacy, announced that Minister Naledi Pandor, responsible for international relations and cooperation, will journey to The Hague for the upcoming ruling.
South Africa submitted the application on December 29, seeking provisional measures to compel Israel to suspend military operations, cease harming Palestinians, and halt actions leading to their destruction.
This follows a provisional measures hearing on January 11 and 12, marking the initial phase of South Africa’s broader case accusing Israel of violating the Genocide Convention.
