Cape Town – Gospel star Kenny Makweng has peacefully passed away, two weeks following his admission to the ICU due to complications that led to a stroke.
His management officially confirmed his departure on Tuesday.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished gospel icon, Kenny Makweng. He departed after a brief illness.
“The family kindly appeals to the public and media for privacy during this challenging time. We earnestly request your thoughts and prayers for his family, associates, and friends,” conveyed the family in a released statement.
