Cape Town – A man was found shot and lying in a bush in Bayview, Chatsworth. PT Alarms Tactical K9 officer and role-players responded to calls for help after the man was heard screaming.
The injured man, shot in the right thigh, was located in the bush.
“It is alleged the man was screaming for assistance and that was conveyed to crime-fighters.
“After searching the bush with other role-players, the male was located.
“After an assessment was done, it was established that the male was shot in the right thigh. The man then started going into shock,” PT Alarms said.
Responders, including CPF members and security personnel, created a makeshift carry board to transport the man to medics for medical treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear, and the police are investigating the case as attempted murder.
