Cape Town – A 29-year-old man from North West, Lucky Thabiso Akompe, appeared in court on Thursday, charged with murdering his girlfriend, Lerato Francina Kuate, on Christmas Day.
The incident involved Akompe allegedly slitting Kuate’s throat in Goedehoop Village near Madikwe, police spokesperson Captain Sam Tselanyane said.
