Cape Town – Renowned South African singer, Bulelwa Mkutukana, popularly known as Zahara, has passed away at the age of 35.
The Loliwe hit-maker had been hospitalised for liver complications for nearly two weeks before her death.
Zahara, a multi-award-winning artist, gained widespread recognition over the past 12 years for her unique musical style.
She released five studio albums, with her debut album “Loliwe” achieving double platinum status in 2011.
Tributes are pouring in for the late songstress.
