Cape Town – Uncle Waffles, the Amapiano sensation, has been named ‘Woman of the Year 2023’ by GQ South Africa, breaking barriers and making history.
Known for infectious beats and dance moves, Uncle Waffles gained fame in 2020 after an impromptu performance at a nightclub.
With the release of her debut single ‘Tanzania’, she garnered widespread acclaim, ranking eighth in Rolling Stone’s afropop songs of 2022.
