Cape Town — South African media personality, Somizi Mhlongo, surprised his followers with a social media post showing off a new mystery man.
The usually flamboyant icon is not one to shy away from showing off the good things in his life, whether it’s good experiences or his love life. In a series of posts, he was all too happy to show off the gifts that he received from his mystery man, whom he called “Sbali”.
Some of his posts included showing off a few bouquets of roses he received from Sbali, as one of the bouquets had a note saying “last night was amazing”, an expensive champagne and dinner, a video of the two of them walking and laughing hand-in-hand.
Somizi kept his followers guessing as to who “Sbali” actually is as he kept his face hidden in all the posts.
“South Africa 🇿🇦 say hi to Sbali,” he said in one post.
“Someone pls tell Sbali to stop it now coz I like it,” he said in another.

Some of his famous friends were quick to the comments to try and guess who the mystery man is, while also congratulating him on his newfound happiness. The likes of DJ Zinhle, Thandeka Zulu and LaConco all commenting on his posts.
“Y’all like secrets Somizi,” Zinhle said on one of the posts
“Hawu Siyabonga 🐅😍,” LaConco said on another.
“One thing about you when you love someone you do it whole heartedly.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Thandeka commented.
