Cape Town — Pearl Thusi has been slammed for her recent video about her cry for help, after she revealed that she was in fact joking about her struggles.
In a video that trended on X, Pearl sent out a cry for help to her followers, saying she was in need of a hug and emotional support.
“To all my friends who know where I live, I’m ordering hugs and support, emotional support, there’s a lot of emotional damage,” Pearl said in the video.
The post sparked some concerns from her fans, who wished her well and hoped that she could get the help she needed. However, a new video came out where Pearl took to her Instagram stories and seemingly went back on what she said in her previous video, saying she was in fact fine and that she had a good thing going.
“Guys, I was just making a joke because of what happened this week. I’ve got my friends phoning me like ‘OMG, what are you going through, what’s happening? What’s going on?’ One can’t play with you guys” she said, before assuring fans that she’s doing well, and there’s nothing to worry about.
Pearl Thusi finally comes out to defend herself, saying she was joking… Everything is ok on her side. She ends the video by saying “ani dlaliswa”.#capitec. Skomota. Minnie. Midrand. Khune. Mama joy. Konka. Sundowns pic.twitter.com/uLeCLC46xp
