Cape Town – A man and a woman were fatally shot in what appears to be a targeted attack in Randburg, Johannesburg.
The incident occurred when a gunman, accompanied by an accomplice driving a black Mercedes-Benz, opened fire on the victims as they were walking toward the Randburg magistrate’s court at around 07:00.
“The victims were certified dead at the scene,” said police spokesperson Mavela Masondo.
The motive behind the killing remains uncertain, and it is unclear whether the victims had any connection to a criminal case.
