Cape Town – A driver in the North West experienced a mishap when the company truck he was operating, carrying alcohol, overturned on the N14 in Lichtenburg last week.
Dash cam footage revealed the driver losing control of the truck and veering off the road.
To everyone’s surprise, it was discovered that a female passenger was on board, which violated company policies, according to News24
Fortunately, both driver and passenger escaped major injuries, although the driver required medical attention and is on leave.

The dash cam footage also showed the driver attempting to hide a bottle of alcohol, another violation of company rules.
After the accident, onlookers looted the truck’s contents, adding to the losses incurred by Sutherland Transport, the truck’s owner.
