Cape Town – South African drivers have endured a series of substantial petrol and diesel price hikes in recent months, but there is hope for much-needed reductions across the spectrum in November.
As of October 17, early data from the Central Energy Fund (CEF) suggests potential fuel price cuts, especially for petrol.
The data indicates a possible decrease of around R1.97 per litre for 95 Unleaded petrol and R1.92 for 93 ULP.
If current trends continue, these numbers could further decrease.
These reductions could help alleviate the recent rise in fuel costs.
However, the situation is subject to change, as oil prices can be influenced by factors like the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
