Cape Town — Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, his wife Rachel, and their children, took a weekend away from the rugby field, as they enjoyed some downtime in Bordeaux.
The Springboks are currently in France for the World Cup as they aim to defend their crown. Siya has been rallying his troops and the team has started the campaign well, winning their first two games.
Many of the regular starting players were rested for the Springboks clash against Romania, including the likes of Siya, Eben Etzebeth and Cheslin Kolbe. The Kolisi family decided to take advantage and enjoy a nice weekend together as a family.
Siya kept his fans and followers updated throughout the entire weekend as he posted regularly. He posted a pic of him, Rachel, and the children at the start of the weekend. He also posted a few pictures and videos as he, Etzebeth and Kolbe went to watch the World Cup clash between Samoa and Chile.
The family ended the weekend off by touring the city and enjoying a wholesome meal at a beautiful French restaurant.
They are clearly getting used to life in France following their big move last month as Siya signed a contract with French club Racing 92, whom he will join after the World Cup.
