Cape Town — After he penned a massive contract with French club side Racing 92, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi had the opportunity to meet with some of the clubs fans.
Siya and the rest of the Kolisi family moved to Paris a few weeks back and the family have settled into their new living arrangements. Siya, who recently made a miraculous comeback from an ACL injury only four months ago, is currently in France preparing for the Springboks’ World Cup defence.
Siya took the opportunity to sign some jerseys and autographs for young fans of the club as they gathered in their numbers. He posted some of the snaps to his Instagram story. The Springbok skipper had the opportunity to meet and greet Racing 92 fans in Corsica, France.

Siya has also been making headlines after he revealed his new Adidas RS15 boots ahead of the 2023 World Cup. The boots are a representation of his journey from his roots in Zwide to captaining South Africa’s 2019 Rugby World Cup win, The South African reported.
In a video on his Instagram, Siya revealed he was honoured to have his own boot and that it was not just an inspiration for him, but for all children. He goes on to describe the details behind the boot such as ‘Zwide’ imprinted in the heel and the reasoning behind the many colours.
“To have my own boot with Adidas is really special. Words cannot describe it. But it’s not just for me, it’s for the kids in my situation to let them know everything is possible.”
