Cape Town — South African musician Nadia Nakai is set to honour her late boyfriend AKA ahead of her performance at the Galaxy 947 Joburg Day.
AKA’s tragic death outside Wish Restaurant in Durban nearly seven months ago is still a bitter pill for many to swallow. Nadia and the rest of the Forbes family have received exceptional support from the Megacy and AKA continues to be honoured.
Ahead of Galaxy 947 Day, Nadia was practising her tribute performance alongside the Mega Band as she sounded like she was set to perform one of AKA’s songs as a tribute to him.
“Rehearsals x @themegaband for @947joburg Day Tribute performance,” she said.
