Cape Town – A tragic incident occurred in Randridge agricultural holdings where a father was killed and his wife was injured in a home invasion on Thursday evening.
The attackers, gunmen, did not steal anything from the house, Times Live reported.
The couple’s two daughters managed to escape unharmed.
“It is reported that a family of four, comprising the father, mother and two daughters were attacked at their home at Randridge Plot, Randfontein. The father was fatally shot while the mother sustained a gunshot wound and the daughters escaped unharmed,” the report quoted Police spokesperson Col Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi as saying.
The police are urging the public to come forward with any information that may help apprehend the suspects.
