Cape Town — Proving that she is a woman of many talents, South African actress Boity Thulo has made a return to music, and has left many of her fans impressed with her freestyle ability.
In a video posted on social media recently, Boity could be seen rapping over the hit song of Pretoria rapper Loatinover Pounds, Sosh Plata, and her lyricism and flow were impressive to say the least.
She rapped about her time as a student, before dropping out, and the difficulties she faced at the time.
“Now look at me now, I’m still on the scene, the biggest in town, I am a queen,” she rapped.

According to TimesLIVE, Boity’s career evolution has gone from actress, to presenter and entrepreneur and then to rapper. She made her musical debut on Club 808 in 2017 and then released Wuz Dat featuring Nasty C as her first single in 2018.
The Citizen reported that she released her debut album in 2020 called 4436 with standout songs such as Bakae and 018’s Finest. She also released 018’s Finest Remix in 2021 as her latest release.
Most fans thought Boity did a great job with her flow and beats, but it wasn’t all good, as some criticised her performance.
However, Boity’s rapping skills caught the attention of South African rapper Emtee, who hinted at possibly collaborating with her in the future and reached out to her on Twitter.
Boity responded simply saying “I’m ready when you are.”
